1. Co-op Certified - AMSOIL University Online
In the Dealer Zone, you will see a LINK called “AMSOIL University Online”.
It is very important that you go through the info contained in the “AMSOIL University Online" modules and complete the final “exam” at your earliest convenience (don’t worry, it’s not as difficult as it sounds – it is mostly videos and multiple-choice questions). Not only will this educate you on all things AMSOIL, but it will allow you to become a “Co-op Certified” AMSOIL Dealer.
Co-op Certified Dealers are eligible to participate in the AMSOIL co-op programs. These programs provide financial or product assistance to aid in your sponsorship of race teams, provide oil analysis for commercial accounts, assist with trade show fees, and more.
2. Locator Certified
To become Locator Certified, you must meet the following qualifications:
1- Be Co-op Certified
2- Earn a minimum of $10 in commissions (personal orders and customer orders)
Plus
3- Sign up 1 or more new Preferred Customers, Dealers, Retail or Commercial accounts
Once you are Locator Certified you will appear on the AMSOIL Locator (Find AMSOIL Near You) on the main amsoil.com website.
Thousands of people visit amsoil.com every day, many of whom are searching for local places to buy AMSOIL products. The AMSOIL Locator allows them to search for retail stores, service centers and independent Dealers like you.
3. Customer Certified
To become Customer Certified, you must meet the following qualifications based on how long you’ve been a Dealer:
1- Be Locator Certified
2- Dealers in Their First Year: Have 2 or more new qualified customers or
Dealers After Their First Year: Have 4 or more new qualified customers within the past year
While many people come to amsoil.com to find out where they can buy AMSOIL products locally, many others show up ready to buy, and many of them have never worked with an independent AMSOIL Dealer. In those cases, AMSOIL completes the transaction at amsoil.com, assigns the new customer a servicing Dealer, and pays that Dealer the commissions that customer generates.
What is a "Qualified Customer"?
1- A PC or Dealer who accumulates 50 commission credits in his first registration period
2- Commercial or retail account that accumulates 22 account commission credits in its first year
* Excludes all AMSOIL corporately assigned customers
Assigned-Customer Multiplier
All Customer-Certified Dealers are in a randomly ordered pool. Once assigned a customer, you move to the bottom of the rotation. If you reach a total of 12 new qualified customers within the past 12 months AMSOIL will give you an extra listing in the rotation. Then, they'll add you again for every eight additional new qualified customers you bring in.
The more new qualified customers you bring in every year, the more chances you’ll have to be assigned buying customers from AMSOIL. Don't underestimate the value of being Customer Certified and of the Assigned-Customer Multiplier.
