Rock Crawling & ULTRA4/King of the Hammers
Rock Crawling is an extreme form of Off Road driving using vehicles anywhere from stock to highly modified to overcome obstacles. Rock crawling competitions range from local events to national series. These consist 100-200 yard long courses with obstacles set up with gates, similar to a slalom ski race.
Fans of Off-road Racing and Rock Crawling are some of the most passionate around. Spectators often arrive from around the country in their RVs and campers, turning the event grounds into a festival devoted to good food, good friends and great racing.
Attend a race or event and you’ll quickly find out why that is – 900-hp Pro 4×4 trucks and modified rock crawlers put on a show like no other. We love off-road racing as much as the next person, which is why we sponsor the top off-road racing series and rock crawling events in the nation.
The 200-plus-mile course combines off-road racing and rock crawling throughout the Means Dry Lake in Johnson Valley, California.
It features five races held throughout the week, including the King of The Motos, the ULTRA4 vs. Rock Bouncer shootout, the KOH UTV race, the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge and the King of The Hammers.
